Meetups 好像很有趣

由 JW Player 主辦的 meetup 叫做 Low-latency Streaming (of drinks) ，讓人不禁想一探究竟，看看喝[啤]酒是可以怎麼 low-latency，是指喝得很快嘛。

由 MUX 主辦的 meetup 叫做 Muxology Happy Hour 。說實在的，”Happy Hour” 算是個已經被用爛的名詞了，但只要有啤酒，有歡笑，不會有任何人介意繼續使用這個名詞。MUX 在會議中會分享 What to do after per-title encoding，在這個 meetup 會接著分享 Per-title encoding with machine-learning，有種二部曲的意味在。Good job!

由 Bitmovin 主辦的 meetup 叫做 The Battle of the Codecs: AV1 vs VVC ，來一起聊聊 AV1 與號稱 AV1 殺手的 VVC 之間的（口水戰)）比。對了，你們知道 Bitmovin 的幾位創辦人都是 codec 相邊領域的死忠愛好者嗎？（這一定與他們三位 co-founder 有兩位是 PhD 無關~）

Women’s Breakfast

在所有活動開始前，沒有任何議程的第一天上午，有個早餐會 Women’s Breakfast 。雖然很羨慕參加的人會有早餐，但是不用參加的人，可能因此可以睡晚一點（活動 9 點就開始），或是挑一家有好咖啡的店來開啟一天的行程，一樣很不賴。

不是很確定是不是女士限定，但顯然一定會是一個討論與氛圍很不一樣的活動 :)

#demuxed for Q&A

不管你有沒有參加，也不管你是不是在舊金山的會場，都可以透過 slack channel (#demuxed at video-dev ) 來共襄盛舉。畢竟，這是個辦在工程師宅聖地 ‘舊金山’ 的活動，沒有 slack 的參與，怎麼樣也說不過去。

This year we’ll be taking all of our questions on the #demuxed channel on the Video Dev slack. I’ll explain more during the opening remarks tomorrow morning, but the tl;dr is, go join that room if you want to ask questions (even if you’re on the live stream).
